Some photos from Punta Gorda’s Healing Field of Honor during Memorial Day weekend (Presented by the Rotary Club of Punta Gorda). A thousand flags were placed at Laishley Park, each dedicated to honor a hero (the fallen, veterans living or deceased, doctors, nurses, first responders, family members, and friends). The SandStar companies were a Liberty Sponsor this year.
Some members from our own companies had flags dedicated for their service: James Pobuda (Vice President of Construction for AR Homes® Punta Gorda), David Tam (Purchasing Manager for AR Homes® Punta Gorda), Julio Gonzalez (SandStar Remodeling), and in memory of Larry Sandles (former co-owner of Five Star General Contracting and AR Homes® Punta Gorda).
